I beleave "screen saver" is a wrong name - except if it is to save the screen! Call it other things please!!! "Info screen", "Rapid info/data", etc... I beleave it is easier to change early in the development, rather than later! --

Some mobile manufactures use an interesting trick: They turn of the backlight and just use black on white text to show information. Additionaly the information is periodicaly shifted around, to save it from burning in (or maybe just for fun?). Maybe this is also possible with openmoko? --folken 15:06 Fre 18 May 2007 (CET)

With openmoko - sure. The neo phone cannot do this, as the display is not able to do this. Look just below the overview.--Speedevil 18:42, 18 May 2007 (CEST)
