If I now buy a phone with development kit, I do it in order to participate in the development, so software problems don't frighten me that much. HOWEVER, if I spend 450$ + figuring out how the !()#@$% do I bring it into Israel, and then, when the software is ready, I find out that the hardware I have will not work, then that's something I will find harder to live with. I therefor think it's important to spell out the hardware maturity level in this page. Shachar 10:05, 23 July 2007 (CEST)

Indeed, there should be a deliniation between hardware and software issues. However, if someone is seriously interested, they would probably go on to investigate the bugzilla tracker. There, Neo1973 is appropriately a separate project from OpenMoko. So one could argue that going into detail here is needlessly replicating information.
