- 2007-06-??: Neo1973 phase 1.5 comes out with faster CPU and GSM system and hopefully "that other thing everyone asks" (FOSDEM video, 30:10) Mail from SMP
- 2007-09-??: According to a posting on the announcement list, Neo1973 phones are expected to be available to the general public.

- 2007-03-16: On March 16, 2007 User:Mickey showed the device at a Zaurus User Group Meeting in Düsseldorf, Germany.
- 2007-03-15: On March 15-18, 2007 there was a Polish Linux User Group conference Pingwinaria 2007 in Krynica Zdrój, Poland. Tomasz Zieliński gave a talk about OpenMoko and two Neo1973 devices was present there. Also Marcin Juszkiewicz presented OpenEmbedded project there.
- 2007-03-05: 36 P0 devices shipped to developers.
- 2007-03-03: Martin Hansen and Ole Tange will speak at LinuxForum
- 2007-02-27: February 27th-March 1st the O'Reilly Emerging Telephony conference will be held at the San Francisco Airport Mariott, Burlingame, CA. Open Phones are on the agenda: Sean will be presenting a workshop on February 27; Surj Patel and Matt Hamrick of Tuxphone and the homebrew club are also presenting. An OpenMoko/Open Phones Social gathering is proposed on the evening of the last day, March 1. We hope Tuxphone and SVHMPC people will join us as well. ETel
