I'm a student/network administrator from Armenia. I'm a student of Yerevan State University It was 2 or 3 years ago I switched to Free Software. It also changed the way I think about IT (and not only) world. Now I'm trying to all the proprietary products from my IT life. I've mostly managed to free my home PC and the workstation at my workplace. Before becoming a network administrator I did programming. Having good C++ knowledge it wasn't hard for me to get familiar with the Linux kernel and system internals. To get to know the GNU/Linux system internally even better I spent a month on making an LFS system and managed to create a fully functional system. But creating a new Desktop Linux distribution isn't much interesting or important cause there are huge communities working on it. Mobile market is much different. That's why I want to contribute to this project.
