Ventura is a webkit-efl based browser optimised for mobile phone screens - particularly the openmoko phone.

NOTE: Currently Ventura is the candidate on being the default web browser in SHR. Please vote in an open pool.

Currently (0.2+svnr11-r0.4) Ventura has this features:

   * finger scrolling
   * double-click to zoom in
   * zoom out through menu
   * layout optimised for max viewing space
   * stop loading page through menu
   * bookmarks
   * rotate screen (e based)
   * ability to change user agent
   * Define Start Page
   * Command line url 

Installation / download

In SHR:

opkg install ventura

In another distros:

opkg install http://elm-browser.googlecode.com/files/browser_1.0-r0.4_armv4t.ipk


Known issues

   * triple click to zoom out (not working as of now - help needed)
   * https pages with latest version of libcurl4 and curl-certs from angstrom 
   * (on SHR all is installed, but you must copy /etc/ssl/certs/ca-certificates.crt into Freerunner from your desktop.)
