The name Openmoko unfortunately has been re-used for a variety of different things.
Openmoko can refer to
- a company based in Taiwan, the original commercial entity behind the Openmoko smartphones (http://openmoko.com)
- a GNU/Linux distribution (Openmoko Linux), targeted at mobile devices such as phones, used primarily on the Openmoko phones
- a GUI application framework, originally based on GTK+, used also primarily on the Openmoko phones
- a wider free software community surrounding the development of free software for mobile phones and compatible hardware
