Shouldn't the part about downloading the openmoko svn tree:

just include the trunk only?

The most time consuming step is the : bitbake openmoko-devel-image. If you want to get all the data from the internet beforehand before the compilation, building and installation of each and every package, try : bitbake -c fetch openmoko-devel-image
